Construction Content Creation

Portfolio Development Showcase

Silver City Estates

Silver City Estates are Rayleigh-based property developers with multiple sites across Southend. They needed content that would actually drive engagement and website traffic, not just look nice. When you're developing properties worth hundreds of thousands, potential buyers need to see quality and professionalism before they'll even book a viewing. We captured four separate development sites in a single day, creating content that would sustain their social media for months while showcasing each site's unique selling points.

About The Project

Portfolio Development Showcase

Multi-Site Production in Four Hours

Four sites in four hours meant serious planning. We coordinated site access, mapped optimal shooting times based on natural light, and prioritized which developments needed drone coverage versus ground-level walk-throughs. Each location required different approaches: established developments showcased community and lifestyle, active construction sites demonstrated progress and momentum, new builds focused on that aspirational quality that makes people imagine living there.

The drone photography showed scale and context that ground shots can't capture. Downhall Road in particular benefited from aerial coverage - seeing the entire development from above, understanding how properties relate to each other and the surrounding area. Shot in the middle of summer meant lush landscaping, blue skies, and properties at their absolute best.

Content Strategy and Results

We didn't just film - we advised Silver City Estates on what to say, how to frame messaging, what actually works on social media. The editing created a visual language that worked across all developments while giving each site its own identity. Downhall Road got an After Effects composition showing the house being built, demonstrating construction quality. Silver London Road's progress update incorporated workers and active construction, showing buyers the momentum and professionalism behind the project.

The results: over 100 likes per video for a small social media presence. The photography performed consistently well, giving them constant high-quality assets for their website. Over two months of posting, engagement went through the roof and website traffic increased. The content positioned Silver City Estates as professional developers who take their properties and marketing seriously.

The
Take Homes

This project proves property marketing content either works commercially or it doesn't. Silver City Estates needed content that would drive actual engagement and website traffic, not just pretty videos. By capturing four sites in one day and creating a strategic content library with drone photography, After Effects work, and construction updates, we gave them months of high-performing content.

Results: over 100 likes per video for a small presence, consistent website traffic, and engagement that proved the strategy worked. When you're asking buyers to invest hundreds of thousands, your marketing quality directly impacts whether they trust you enough to book a viewing. Function Media understands property marketing isn't just showcasing developments - it's building trust and creating content that works commercially.

Pristine Fits Brand Content Campaign

Social Media Content & Commercial Photography

Pristine Fits aren't your average trainer retailers - they're positioning themselves at the upmarket end of footwear, where brand perception and visual quality directly impact whether customers trust you enough to spend serious money. When they approached us to create content that would drive both social engagement and actual sales conversions, we knew this couldn't be standard product photography shot on white backgrounds. They needed jaw-dropping content that made luxury trainers feel like the investment pieces they actually are, and a strategic approach that would work across social media, website, and paid advertising without looking like three different campaigns stitched together.

YoungMinds Charity Campaign

Charity Awareness Campaign

Mental health in young people isn't something you tackle with half measures, and when YoungMinds needed to raise serious awareness for their 80K challenge, we knew this had to be our best work. Partnering with Alexis Los meant we could reach audiences who might never normally engage with charity content, but the real challenge was creating something that would make people genuinely care about the cause rather than just scroll past.

Southend Airport Winter Campaign

Marketing Campaign & Social Content

When Southend Airport wanted to boost winter flight bookings during the peak summer season, they needed something that would cut through the noise completely. Enter Enzo the Elf - their cheeky mascot who's apparently defrosted early and decided to cause absolute chaos across Essex. The brief was brilliant in its simplicity: create guerrilla-style content that would make people think about winter flights while they're still in flip-flops and shorts.

Southend United Third Kit Launch

Kit Launch & Brand Collaboration

When Southend United needed their third kit reveal to match the success of their previous launches, they knew it had to be something special. Enter Cliffs Pavilion, one of Southend's most iconic venues - and Alexis Los, the piano-playing sensation who's been making waves across social media. This wasn't just about showcasing new kit; it was about creating a moment that would stick in people's minds long after they'd scrolled past.

AutoHeritage Content Campaign

Social Media Content

AutoHeritage, a personal YouTube channel and passion project, needed a creative partner to help it celebrate classic cars and the incredible stories behind them. The challenge was to bring the raw mechanical brilliance of pre-war cars to life, showcasing their pure engineering and rich history. With a deep passion for restoring and transforming these classics, AutoHeritage had a clear vision: to create content that would resonate with fellow enthusiasts and position these machines as pieces of history brought back to life. Function Media was brought on to deliver a content strategy that would do justice to these iconic vehicles.

CBK Gym 30 Seconds of Fame

Cinematic Gym Documentary & Promotional Content

This one's special for us because it was essentially Function Media's first proper launch video - our way of getting the word out about what we're actually about. Working with Josh at CBK was incredible, and what made it perfect was how their philosophy mirrors exactly what we do. Everyone sees the polished final video, but they miss the 3000 hours of planning, shooting, and editing that goes into making it look effortless. Josh understood that completely, and together we created something that represents both CBK's excellence and Function Media's approach to storytelling.

Southend United Away Kit Launch

Community Focused Kit Launch Campaign

Sometimes the best briefs are the mental ones, and this away kit launch was exactly that. While the home kit was all legends and nostalgia, this was pure community storytelling with a comedy twist that had us filming everything from kids in back gardens to getting someone who can't swim onto a boat called 'The Shrimper'. The challenge was simple - capture what it actually means to be a Southend fan in 24 hours, balancing proper heartwarming moments with laugh-out-loud comedy. Organised chaos at its absolute finest.
